The Haas Center is a research and consulting arm of the University of West Florida's Division of Research and Strategic Innovation. We specialize in industry and market research, survey research, data analytics and strategic planning. The Haas Center has played a prominent role in economic development efforts across the Northwest Florida Region and around the state for nearly 25 years.
We consider ourselves to be a research shop with a solutions-oriented approach. Our staff come from diverse backgrounds that bring unique work experience to the table. We are comprised of economists, political scientists, multi-media specialists as well as database and IT experts. The Haas Center staff’s extensive knowledge of regional and state economic and workforce issues allows us to engage in a wide variety of research projects, including survey marketing research, economic and demographic profiles, economic and tax impact studies, workforce development studies, industry cluster analyses, market and feasibility analyses, strategic planning, and custom database and analytics work.
Our team members have not only executed analyses, but perhaps more importantly, have led organizations that have executed the recommendations that have flowed from such analyses. We understand not only data and economics, but our hands-on experiences allow us to understand which approaches are practical, workable and most likely to succeed for our clients. We specialize in studies tailored to meet our client’s specific needs in a timely and cost effective manner while adhering to the highest standards of excellence.
